DALLAS(TX) - The Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers made big splashes this past offseason. The Lakers signed free agents Karl Malone and Gary Payton to play along side Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal. Down in Big D, the Mavs made two big trades to provide needed defense inside.... The Dallas Mavericks are hosting a watch party at three area Dave & Busters locations as the club opens the regular season vs. the Los Angeles Lakers in Los Angeles at 9:30 p.m. CT (TNT).
